Description

The Goldwater Scholarship seeks to encourage college students to enter research careers in the sciences, mathematics, and engineering.

Benefits

The scholarship provides up to $7,500 per academic year towards the cost of undergraduate tuition, fees, room, and board for those interested in STEM research careers. Students selected as sophomores will receive the scholarship in their junior and senior years; students selected as juniors will receive the scholarship in their senior year only.

Eligibility

Students must be U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents and must be in their sophomore or junior year of college.
