He has spent time working with state and local governments throughout the southeast on energy, education, and health policy. His research as part of David Hoffman’s Technology Policy centers around the intersections of technology with healthcare and national security, particularly legal and policy mechanisms to protect mental health and military data from sale and exploitation. He has also spent time working in the House of Representatives for Representative Sharice Davids and with the North Carolina General Assembly as both a campaign manager and deputy chief of staff for Representative Zack Hawkins.
