Class of 2026
A.B. Duke Scholar
Hometown: McLean, Virginia
Majors: Mathematics and Computer Science
I'm looking forward to taking a variety of challenging courses at Duke, especially those from the Slavic and Eurasian Studies and Math Departments.
Hobbies: I love solving problems. That's why I love programming, whether I am learning a new language or coding a website. I enjoy staying on top of current events, and in my free time, I like to read sci-fi novels and spend time with my friends.
Why Duke?
I am incredibly excited to attend Duke. Duke's school spirit and tight-knit community are unparalleled, and I'm looking forward to meeting passionate and clever people who will challenge me in my studies and encourage me to reach my potential. At Duke, I can't wait to learn more about my Ukrainian and Russian cultural heritage with distinguished faculty in the Slavic and Eurasian Department. I want to pursue meaningful environmental and medical research with Duke's merit scholarship enrichment funding. I'm incredibly grateful to be an A.B. Duke Scholar, both for the new opportunities I have access to and the welcoming group of people who always have time to lend a hand.
