Amy’s main academic interest lies in exploring how computational methodologies can be used effectively for historical and literary research. She has participated in the Bass Connections project “Ethical Consumption Before Capitalism” (2021-2022), the Data+ project of the same name (summer 2022), and the Early Modern London project (2022-2023). For all three projects, she has applied natural language processing and traditional close readings to investigate 17th century English texts.
