Class of 2022


Anh-Huy Nguyen is from Annandale, Virginia, majoring in both economics and mathematics. At Duke, Nguyen was a member of a Bass Connections project focusing on economies of care, and he also participated in DukeEngage in Miami, where he interned at Catholic Legal Charities, an immigration law firm for low-income individuals. Nguyen plans to obtain a Ph.D. in economics to study educational and economic mobility and is also interested in public finance and the economics of education. He aspires to become a professor of economics and would one day like to obtain a position within the federal government to implement policy solutions.
