Why Duke?
I fell in love with the strong sense of community permeating Duke's gorgeous Gothic grounds. The vibrant culture at Duke is dynamic and exciting. From quiet intellectual conversations to loud cheering in Cameron Indoor Stadium, Duke students can do it all. Additionally, I was attracted to Duke's emphasis on interdisciplinary education, enriching its students' understanding of the vital connections between academic disciplines. At Duke, global perspectives are a cornerstone of the learning experience. This prepares students to thrive in an interconnected world. Duke provides its students with the tools and support they need to graduate college prepared to create positive, lasting change.
I am forever grateful to the donors of the Cassell/Saperstein Trinity Scholarship, and to Duke University for this incredible opportunity!
