Why Duke?

I chose Duke for several different reasons. Of course, the scholarship provided a degree of financial security that no other school did, but more importantly, Duke seemed to be a place that would support me in all of my endeavors. I am happy to report that this is true. The students at Duke really foster a collaborative environment that allows us to depend on one another. The advising available through the academic advising center and DUS(s) makes it much easier to navigate college life both inside and outside of the classroom. The Trinity curriculum has granted me the opportunity to explore a wide range of topics from computer science to Global Health; I am excited to continue my academic journey here!
