Why Duke?

As a scholar, I try to build a habit of digesting knowledge that will make the world, no matter how complex it is right now, a better place. Currently, I am leveraging technology such as machine learning and full stack web development in trying to meet UN’s sustainable development goals close to my heart which are climate action and quality education. At a place like Duke, I’ve had access to classes, books, and people that gave me the information I need to be capable of such things. It doesn’t stop there. With Duke, I am able to put my ideas into action and actually apply what I learned in the real world.
