Why Duke?
I chose Duke because it gave me the opportunity to explore areas out of the majors I chose, meet people with extremely varied interests while still giving back to the world with the help of the resources at my disposal. At Duke, especially during and right after the application process, I felt like they made an effort to understood me, my goals, and were willing to help me achieve those goals. There is something for everyone here and I will be guided to find what fits me while still being given freedom to grow.
