Tell us about your Duke experience:
My name is Emily Zhao, and I'm interested in majoring in environmental science and policy and economics. I'm especially passionate about combating climate change through environmentally equitable policy and sustainable business development. During my time at Duke, I've gotten involved with Duke Impact Investing Group's consulting division, Duke Energy Initiative, and the Duke Climate Coalition. The A.B. Duke scholarship has allowed me to wholeheartedly pursue my academic interests at Duke and has given me direct resources on scholarships and other opportunities. In my free time, I enjoy making short films, playing tennis, and finding the best cheap eats in Durham.
