Why Duke?
I chose Duke because of the vast amount of opportunities and the well of knowledge Duke offered compared to universities in my home city. I have already met amazing people within the Karsh Scholarship Program and can't wait to meet the rest of the Blue Devil community. The Karsh Scholarship means the world to me. It has given me the ability to experience the world through education without having to worry about money. I hope to join the Taekwondo and Judo clubs at Duke as my love for martial arts so far has only been through YouTube videos and carry on my passion for Ultimate Frisbee by joining the team at Duke.
