Garret Goodman

Class of 2023

Garret Goodman is majoring in economics with a finance concentration and is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He will also graduate with an innovation and entrepreneurship certificate. On campus, Garret contributes to Duke Investment Club, Duke Impact Investment Group, and Duke Business Society. He is passionate about reducing food waste on a global scale, and during his time at Duke, he has researched food waste’s impact on the environment, economy, and society. Garret has worked with nonprofits and startups in the Durham community focused on reducing consumer waste. He plans to work on finding innovative solutions to food waste and utilize his financial acumen to scale these solutions.
