Hobbies and Interests: I'm a huge fan of playing and listening to music. Some of my favorite genres are 70s classic rock, 90s alternative, jazz, blues, metal, and fusion! I'm also pretty big on reading sci-fi and philosophy. I'm fascinated by everything related to medicine, the natural sciences, and the application of new technologies within healthcare. Career-wise, I aspire to become a surgeon!
Why Duke?
I decided to come to Duke after reading about its vibrant community, the supportive environment it offers, and its values—respect, trust, inclusion, discovery, and excellence.
Additionally, the number of opportunities available in terms of research, student involvement, and interdisciplinary exploration made the decision a no-brainer for me.
I'm really looking forward to meeting people from all over the world with unique academic interests, experiences, opinions, and perspectives.
Also, I'm incredibly excited about participating in clubs like Jazz@Duke, getting involved in clinical shadowing, research, and volunteering, and sometimes assisting the open mic sessions at the Duke Coffeehouse.
