Jenna Smith was among the 32 recipients selected for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship, chosen from among 865 applicants across the United States.

Jenna is a senior at Duke University where she majors in International Comparative Studies. She currently serves as the President of the Duke Justice Project, which partnered Duke with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety Division of Juvenile Justice to provide leader development programs for local youths. While at Duke, Jenna has focused her research and teaching on the criminal-legal system, to include a course on correctional systems and the prison re-entry process. At Oxford, she aims to pursue a MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice followed by an MSc in Comparative Social Policy. Her Rhodes Scholar bio may be accessed here.
