Karen is interested in studying the intersection of behavioral economics, statistics, and health policy.  She has been serving as a research assistant with the Woldorff Lab in the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience since the start of her first year at Duke as a member of the fall 2022 Cognitive Neuroscience Research Internship cohort.  There, she is exploring the cognitive neuroscience of attention, cognitive control, and perception using electrophysiological and functional neuroimaging methods.
