Why Duke?
Ahh, to view the ole "Bull City" from atop the highest steeple on the Chapel Belfry, what a sight! Scaling Duke Chapel has always been on my bucket list, ever since I first laid eyes on the gothic cathedral on the iconic bus commute along Chapel Drive. This, alongside being a Karsh Scholar, intuitively resonates with my lifetime ambitions: scaling my dreams to newer heights, quite literally. Being at Duke enables me to not only accomplish this, but the wonderful family I find along the way within the Karsh community are like the bright starts gazing down on you on a fall's eve as you look out into the rolling hills of the Duke Gardens atop the Chapel steeple.
