Bio: Maria was born in Caracas, Venezuela and immigrated to Florida at age 10. Her life experiences have inspired her to pursue a career in immigration law, therefore leading her to major in International Comparative Studies while also fostering her academic interests in political science, religion and gender studies. In her free time she enjoys running and reading.
