Tell us about your Duke experience:

I am passionate about the intersection of health and engineering. Specifically, I am interested in medical devices and robotics that improve the lives of patients and physicians. At Duke, I am studying math and electrical engineering. I hope to use this theoretical foundation to tackle real-world problems in the world of healthcare. I am also involved with the dance community at Duke. I am on the Defining Movement and Duke Dhamaka dance teams. Additionally, I teach free classes to kids in the Durham Boys and Girls Club and Families Moving Forward Shelter. After my first two years at Duke, I feel so grateful for the A.B. community. Other scholars have been so welcoming and eager to help us navigate these 4 years at Duke. I am always inspired by how passionate A.B.s are about their interdisciplinary interests. I am thankful to be a part of the A.B. family.
