Hobbies: Outside of the classroom I'm passionate about helping to correct disparities in the education system. I spend a lot of my time on that and enjoy doing research and service focused on education. I also enjoy sports and tv shows/movies in my spare time when I just want to unwind.
Why Duke?
When I begin my journey at Duke, I am most looking forward to being challenged. I am looking forward to my new academic challenges and the new skills I will be introduced to and be able to apply in the future. I am also looking forward to being challenged by my peers not only academically, but socially. Overall, I'm looking forward to the person I will become due to the challenges I will face and overcome while I am at Duke.
