Selom is a Ghanaian-American interested in global cultural studies and neuroscience.  At Duke, she is on the planning committee for the Black Student Alliance and is a member of Duke Africa.  Her passion for music led her to become involved with the LDOC committee, the group that plans the enormous music party for the last day of classes.  Selom is excited to join the latest class of Baldwin Scholars.  Outside of classes and extracurriculars, she is an avid reader and film aficionado.
