Why Duke?

I chose Duke for its welcoming community as the alumni and current students greeted us openly on Blue Devil Day and made me feel like I belonged. Beyond the community, I like the freedom that Duke’s interdisciplinary education brings, allowing us to carve whatever path we want, whether that be STEM or humanities. At Duke, I can hope to explore my interests no matter how varied they are, ranging from immunology to data science to violin and music. I am looking forward to start a new journey here!
