Zeinab was raised in a multicultural family outside Washington, D.C. and has Moroccan and Sudanese roots. She is passionate about global development and the intersection of human rights, the environment, and data. At Duke, Zeinab is a Baldwin Scholar, president of the Muslim Students Association, and has served on the national championship Arabic debate team. She is interested in finding effective strategies for sustainable development in her home country and hopes to use her research as a chance to explore this.
