Zeinab was raised in a multicultural family outside Washington, D.C. and has Moroccan and Sudanese roots. She is passionate about global development and the intersection of human health, the environment, and economics. At Duke, Zeinab is a Baldwin Scholar, a Senator on the Academic Affairs Committee for Duke Student Government, and has served on the national championship Arabic debate team. This year, she is a house course instructor for a course focusing on the history of education inequity in under-resourced Durham middle schools.
