The Marshall Scholarship funds two years of graduate study in any field at any university in the United Kingdom, with the exception of professional degrees. Prospective applicants are especially encouraged to look at the full range of universities across the U.K. Applicants must apply separately for admission to their graduate program. Applicants must be nominated by Duke to compete for the award.

Benefits
The scholarship covers all educational costs for two years of study, including travel, tuition, housing, food, laboratory and other fees. Candidates pursuing a doctorate may petition for a third year of funding.
Scholars also participate in professional development and community events, as well as gain access to a strong alumni network and ongoing opportunities for networking, collaboration, and advancement.

Eligibility
Applicants must be graduating seniors or recent alumni who have graduated within the past three years. Eligibility is restricted to U.S. citizens with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher.
